My Very Best are a 3 - piece band based in South Wales . Frontman and songwriter Simon O’Brien , bassist Dylan Williams and drummer Mike Barry have spent the months since forming in 2007 writing rehearsing and recording. In 2008 they recorded and released their debut E.P. ‘’The last Time Forever’’ and are currently writing and recording a mini album due for release late 2009 early 2010.
The debut E.P. was recorded with producer Lyndon Price at Redrock studios. The E.P. showcases a warm song writing approach haunted by desperate confusion yet full of quixotic hope.
The band continue to write new material while engaging in management and sponsorship talks as they look to take their unique approach at heartstrings as well as guitars to a wider audience and are already attracting interest from mainstream media.
In April this year the band appeared on Nation Radio’s ‘First Date’ show and currently have five tracks on the Nation Radio play list.
